Hawnes School, Haynes Park, near Ampthill in Bedfordshire, was founded in 1929. It closed suddenly in 1975 - but former pupils and staff still keep in touch.
During the school's life certain former pupils and staff were 'invited' to join the old girls' association - The Old Hagensians. It was made clear that others were not welcome!
Membership is now open to ALL former pupils and staff.
We meet in central London on a Saturday in early March each year for lunch and an AGM.
The next meeting is on Saturday, 4th March 2023 at a hotel near Victoria Station - see AGM page.
There is an annual newsletter, 2019 issue now available but the book of memories has now sold out.
